Rainbow Riches Free Spins and Bonuses: What They Are Really Worth
Rainbow Riches bonus rounds by version, how free-spin offers on the game work, worked valuations, the UK 10x wagering cap and why free bitcoin offers fail.

Disclosure We may earn a commission when you click links to casinos. It never changes the facts we report. How we work
“Rainbow Riches bonus” can mean two things: the bonus rounds built into the game, and free-spin or deposit offers that a casino attaches to it. The in-game features are fixed by Light & Wonder and listed below for each main version. Casino offers change constantly, and because we could not verify any crypto casino that carries Rainbow Riches as of October 2026, this page lists no offers; instead it shows you how to value one in a few minutes.
Bonus rounds inside the game, version by version
The original remake keeps it simple, while the spin-offs add free spins, picks and jackpots. Every entry below comes from the provider’s catalogue description.
Old guides on this site also covered Reels of Gold and the first Pick N Mix as separate “games”. Both are still in the catalogue: Reels of Gold and the 2017 PicknMix are each listed at 98% RTP with stakes from 0.10 or 0.20 up to 500, but their pages describe nothing else, so we will not invent feature details for them.
For how each feature plays step by step, see how to play Rainbow Riches.

How a casino free-spins offer on Rainbow Riches works
A free-spins offer gives you a set number of spins on a named game at a fixed value per spin. What the spins win is usually credited as bonus money, which then has rules before it becomes cash. Five terms decide whether the offer is worth anything:
- Spin value. Most offers use the minimum stake. On the 2025 remake that is 0.20; some casinos set 0.10 on other versions.
- Eligible game and version. “Rainbow Riches” in the terms might mean a specific spin-off with a different RTP.
- Expiry. Spins and any resulting bonus often expire within days.
- Wagering. How many times the winnings must be staked before withdrawal.
- Win cap. A maximum amount that free-spin winnings can turn into, regardless of what the game paid.

Putting a value on an offer: two worked examples
Offer A: 40 spins at 0.20, winnings wagered 10x. The face value is 8.00. At a 96% setting the spins are expected to return about 7.68. Wagering 10 times means staking 76.80 more, and at 96% that costs about 3.07 on average. Expected value left: roughly 4.61. Not a fortune, but genuinely worth something.
Offer B: the same 40 spins, winnings wagered 40x, cash-out capped at 20.00. Expected spin winnings are still about 7.68, but 40x wagering means staking 307.20, which costs about 12.29 at 96%. That is more than the spins are expected to win, so the average value falls to nothing, and the 20.00 cap removes the rare big result that might have rescued it.
The same arithmetic works on any offer: face value times RTP, minus the expected cost of the wagering, then check the cap. If the RTP setting of the eligible version is lower, say 90%, both the spin return and the wagering cost get worse.
Rules for bonuses in Great Britain
Most Rainbow Riches offers you will see are aimed at British players, so the Gambling Commission’s rules shape them. Since 19 January 2026:
- wagering requirements on bonuses may not exceed 10 times the bonus amount;
- a bonus may not require you to take part in two or more gambling products, for example a bet plus slot play, to unlock it.
Licensed operators must also verify your age and identity before you can deposit, use free-to-play versions or gamble with bonus funds, and slot stakes are capped at 5 pounds per spin, or 2 pounds for those aged 18 to 24. An offer from a site without a Commission licence is not protected by any of this, and such sites act illegally when they target players in Great Britain.
Deposit-match bonuses played on Rainbow Riches
Some players skip free spins and use a deposit match instead. Take a 100% match on a 20 deposit: 20 of bonus money arrives with, under British rules, at most 10x wagering on the bonus, so 200 to stake. On a 94% build that wagering is expected to cost about 12, leaving roughly 8 of the bonus as average value. Run the same offer on an 87% build and the expected cost rises to 26, more than the bonus itself.
Two further terms matter for this game in particular. First, check that Rainbow Riches is not on the offer’s list of excluded games; casinos sometimes leave out certain titles or jackpot versions. Second, look for game weighting, where only a percentage of each stake counts towards wagering. A slot counted at 50% doubles the real amount you must stake. Cashback and loyalty rewards without wagering are usually simpler to value: whatever is credited is cash.
No-deposit offers
No-deposit free spins attract the most searches and deliver the least. Expect small numbers of spins at the minimum value, full identity checks before you can withdraw, and a cap on what you can cash out. Keep in mind, too, that the casino decides which Rainbow Riches build the spins run on, and the build used for promotional spins is not necessarily the highest RTP setting available. They are best seen as a free look at a licensed casino’s lobby, not as a way to make money. The same valuation method applies: a no-deposit offer with a low cap and fair wagering can still be worth claiming, while one with a high requirement mostly buys time on the reels.
“Free bitcoin” and crypto bonuses for Rainbow Riches
The old version of this site promised free bitcoin for Rainbow Riches. As of October 2026 that does not match reality. We checked the game lists of five large crypto casinos, Stake, BC.Game, BitStarz, BetFury and Winz.io, and Rainbow Riches was not among them; Stake’s list of studios did not include Light & Wonder at all. On the licensed side, British casinos do not offer crypto payments as a standard option, and the Gambling Commission said in February 2026 that it only now wants to start looking at a possible route for cryptoassets as a payment method.
So an advert for “Rainbow Riches free bitcoin spins” is either attached to a different game, a clone with a similar theme, or a site you should not trust with a deposit. Our page on Rainbow Riches and crypto casinos explains how to check what a site really offers.
Reading the terms: a 60-second checklist
Fact sheet
| Check | Fair sign | Warning sign |

| Licence | Regulator and licence number in the footer, matching the register | No licence, or one that does not cover your country |
| Game named | Exact Rainbow Riches title and provider | “Leprechaun slot” with no provider |
| Spin value | Stated in currency | Not stated |
| Wagering | 10x or less (the GB maximum) | 30x, 40x or more |
| Win cap | None, or several times the face value | Barely above the face value |
| Expiry | A week or more | 24 hours to clear wagering |
Bonus or no bonus: which is better for this game?
Rainbow Riches puts much of its value into features that pay up to 500x on the remake. A short free-spins offer rarely lasts long enough to see many of them, and wagering can lock in a small balance for a long time. If you play mainly for the features, a smaller session without a bonus, at the highest RTP setting you can find, is often simpler and no worse in value. If an offer has 10x wagering, no tight cap and a sensible expiry, it is worth taking. Either way, set your budget first; our RTP and odds page shows what each setting costs.

Rainbow Riches bonus FAQ
Does Rainbow Riches have a free spins round?
The 2025 remake of the original does not: its three features are Road to Riches, Wishing Well and Pots of Gold. Free spins appear in spin-offs such as Rainbow Riches Freespins, Rainbow Frenzy, Locomotion, Even More Pots of Gold Free Spins and, as an optional bonus, the 2025 Pick N Mix.
Where can I get Rainbow Riches free spins with Bitcoin?
Nowhere we could verify. In October 2026 none of the crypto casinos we checked (Stake, BC.Game, BitStarz, BetFury, Winz.io) listed Rainbow Riches, and casinos licensed in Great Britain do not offer crypto as a standard payment option. Treat ‘free bitcoin’ offers for this game with suspicion.
What is the maximum wagering on free spins in the UK?
Since 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission caps wagering requirements at 10 times the bonus amount, and bonuses that require play across two or more gambling products are banned.
Are no-deposit free spins on Rainbow Riches worth it?
They can be, if the terms are fair. Check the spin value, the expiry, the wagering and any cap on winnings: a handful of 0.10 spins has a face value under a pound, so a high wagering requirement or a low cash-out cap can wipe out most of the value.
Do free spins count towards the Rainbow Riches top prize?
A free spin plays the same game, so a feature can land, but the prize is paid at the spin’s fixed value, which is often the minimum stake. Many offers also cap what free-spin winnings can turn into, whatever the game pays.
Which Rainbow Riches version has the most generous free spins feature?
Light & Wonder does not publish feature-level returns, so no one can rank them honestly. What it does publish is the overall RTP per build, for example 95.17% for Rainbow Riches Freespins and 95.96% for Rainbow Frenzy, and those are the figures to compare.
